OLYMPIA, Wash. – April 23, 2026 – High Plateau Asset Management, LLC (HPAM) has been appointed by the Thurston County Superior Court as general receiver for Equilus Group, Inc., Equilus Capital Partners, LLC, and related investment entities, following a petition by the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions.

About the Case
The receivership encompasses eight entities: Equilus Group, Inc., Equilus Capital Partners, LLC, Cheney Park Commons I, LLC, Cheney Park Commons II, LLC, OldTown Commons, LLC, 1421 Meadow Wood, DST, ECP Opportunities Fund I, LP, and Colt Creek Real Estate, LLC. The action was initiated by the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions to protect investor assets and prevent further dissipation of funds.
HPAM has been tasked with protecting investors and stabilizing operations, including:
- Preserving the status quo and preventing further asset dissipation
- Determining the financial condition of all entities
- Taking control of investor proceeds and company assets
- Managing all accounts and assets held by the companies
- Preventing further loss, damage, and injury to investors
- Collecting and administering funds held at multiple financial institutions for the benefit of investors
